Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
- Educational Qualification: * Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (3-year LLB or 5-year Integrated LLB) from a BCI-recognized university.
- Final-year students (final semester) with no backlogs from previous semesters are also eligible to apply.
- Enrollment: Candidates must be enrolled with any State Bar Council as an advocate (though certain pending cases may apply under BCI guidelines).
- Passing Marks: 45% for General/OBC and 40% for SC/ST/PH.
- Age Limit: There is no upper or lower age limit to appear for the AIBE exam.
- Number of Attempts: There is no limit on the number of attempts.
Required Documents for Registration
To fill out the online form, you will need scanned copies of the following (preferably under 1MB in PDF/JPG format):
- Photograph & Signature (Passport size, clear).
- Law Degree / Provisional Certificate or Marksheets.
- Enrollment Certificate issued by the State Bar Council.
- Category/Caste Certificate (if applicable).
- Disability Certificate (if applicable).
- Valid ID Proof (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, or Passport).
Exam Pattern Highlights
- Mode: Offline (Pen and Paper / OMR based).
- Duration: 3 Hours 30 Minutes.
- Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Negative Marking: There is NO negative marking.
- Language: The exam is conducted in 22 vernacular languages (you can choose your preference).
