2. Mains Exam Schedule (February 27, 2026)

The exam will be conducted in two shifts at Patna headquarters:

  • Shift 1 (10:00 AM to 12:15 PM): General Hindi (Qualifying – 30% marks required)
  • Shift 2 (02:30 PM to 04:45 PM): General Studies (Merit-based)

3. Application Fee (Mains)

  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹600/-
  • SC / ST / Women (Bihar Domicile): ₹150/-
  • PwD Candidates: ₹200/-

4. Eligibility & Vacancy Details

  • Total Posts: 16 (UR), 9 (SC), 1 (ST), 1 (EBC), 9 (BC), 4 (EWS), 1 (BC-Female).
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any stream.
  • Age Limit (as of 01/08/2025): * Minimum: 21 Years
    • Maximum: 37 Years (UR Male), 40 Years (BC/EBC & UR Female), 42 Years (SC/ST).

How to Download BPSC ASO Mains Admit Card

  1. Visit the official BPSC portal: bpsconline.bihar.gov.in.
  2. Login using your Username and Password (created during registration).
  3. On your dashboard, look for the “Admit Card Download” link for Assistant Section Officer Mains.
  4. Verify your details and enter the captcha.
  5. Download the Admit Card PDF and print it on an A4 sheet.

Important Exam Day Instructions

  • Required Documents: Printed Admit Card and an original Photo ID (Aadhar, PAN, or Voter ID).
  • Reporting Time: Reach the center at least 60 minutes before the shift starts.
