2. Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Candidates appearing in Class 12 in 2026 are also eligible to apply.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in NCET 2026. However, candidates must fulfill the age criteria of the specific University/Institute they wish to join.

The NCET 2026 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in 13 languages.

How to Apply Online

  1. Visit the official NTA NCET portal: exams.nta.ac.in/NCET.
  2. Click on “New Registration” and enter your basic details (Name, Email, Mobile No.).
  3. Login using your Application Number and Password.
  4. Fill out the application form (Personal details, Educational info, Exam city preference).
  5. Upload scanned documents:
    • Photograph: (10kb to 200kb)
    • Signature: (4kb to 30kb)
  6. Pay the examination fee online and download the Confirmation Page.
